Key responsibilities:
Gareth is responsible for the day to day running of all aspects
of the movement of materials from shipping, warehousing,
transport, customs clearance, stock control to buying forklifts & fuel, health & safety, to employing operational & admin staff whilst supporting the Sales teams at Newport on a daily basis.
As a “finisher” he provides a safety net by “dotting I's & crossing T's” in all areas. Gareth can always be relied on in any crisis or difficult situation.

Brief career history:
Following an apprenticeship of 31years & 8 months with the trade's leading panel & timber Importers, Gareth was head-hunted to offer the 3 Directors of Premier the benefit of his vast experience in all aspects of the trade. Gareth has played an important part in Premier's growth and is the longest serving member of staff.

Interesting facts:
Known to the 3 Directors of Premier as "Chief" or "Topman", Gareth is very happily married to Diane. He has 2 sons, 2 Stepsons and 4 Granddaughters with another baby due soon.
