Fibreboard is a wallboard composed of wood chips, plant fibres or shavings which are bonded together with resin and compressed into rigid sheets.

Fibreboards are used for kitchen cabinets, interior fitments and office furniture.

A resin adhesive is not always used in fibreboard manufacture. In some cases the boards are held together by physical forces (hydrogen bonding).
